Welcome to this weeks insightful comments from me, the greatest hockey player and coach in the world. Many people don't know the history of Hannukah and how it relates to hockey today. Well to make a long story short when the Maccabees kicked butt against Antiochus and his soldiers they used some of the first hockey shaped sticks. These Jews (and yes I am one) learned our incredible stick handling skills from these first street hockey players. So next time you are looking at your candles burning on your Menorah you can imagine them as hockey sticks. Have a happy Hannukah!
